Davy Jones

Born: December 30, 1945 in Manchester, England

Before DJBH: Davy's first big break was being cast as "The Artful Dodger" in the Broadway production of Oliver!, a role for which he received a Tony Award nomination.

Micky and Davy were the last two remaining members of the original incarnation of The Monkees, releasing Changes in 1970.

When DJBH split up in 1977, Micky and Davy joined up with Micky's sister Coco and a backing band called The Laughing Dogs and continued to tour. In 1978 they headed to England to perform in Harry Nilson's musical The Point. Every few years the performing bug would bite and the duo toured, performing greatest hits of the Monkees. In the mid-1980s and again in the 1990s, they teamed up with Peter for Monkees reunion tours. In 1996, joined by Mike, the reunited four Monkees released an album, Justus.

In addition to their occasional Monkees reunions, Micky has done cartoon voice-overs, appeared on stage and television, and worked behind the camera as a producer and director, while Davy has toured and made various television and stage appearances.
