The paths of the members of Natural Remedy have frequently crossed over the years, even before they formed this band. Perhaps Fate was trying to tell them something? They've played in various other bands around the Triangle area, developing their own individual styles and musical interests. Eventually, however, they got together and that's when the magic happened. The current lineup of Natural Remedy has been unchanged since August of 2001.
Bill Corbin and Chris Hibbard met through mutual friends at Garner High. Chris invited Bill to come play with his band, in which Josh Tilton was also a guitar player. After awhile the group disbanded, but Bill and Chris continued to hang out together.
One day, Bill and Chris went to another band's practice and heard an amazing singer, who turned out to be Josh Pepper. After awhile, Bill and Chris asked Josh P. to join them in a band. They quickly learned some cover tunes and began playing in local bars in Garner and Clayton. Although they were doing well, they realized they needed a lead guitar player.
Luckily, Bill and Chris's old friend Josh Tilton had been looking for a band. They knew him as an incredible guitar player who can play a wide variety of styles (and as an added bonus, he has a great voice!). The four guys quickly became great friends, and Natural Remedy as we now know it was born.

Josh Tilton (lead guitar), a Raleigh native, has always had an interest in music and the guitar. He joined his first band at age sixteen, where he met Chris Hibbard. In the summer of 2001 the guys from Natural Remedy called and asked if he would be interested in playing lead guitar. After jamming with the guys one time Josh knew that he loved the music and the guys. |

Chris Hibbard (drums) was also born in Raleigh, NC. In the fifth grade, Chris became very interested in music and decided he wanted to be a part of that scene. He eventually saw an ad in the paper for drum lessons and to his astonishment, his parents agreed. Chris had never sat behind a drumset before until that first lesson, but during that lesson, he discovered he had found what he was looking for. |
